Actor Parambrata Chatterjee, widely known for his contribution in Bengali and Hindi cinema, will allegedly marry his girlfriend Piya Chakraborty today (November 27). Piya is musician Anupam Roy’s former wife.

The wedding rumor of Parambrata and Piya has been going on for a while now. However, Aajtak Bangla has now reported that the duo will get married in a close-knit ceremony comprising friends and family in Kolkata on November 27.

While the couple is yet to announce an official statement in the matter, the rumor of their wedding is all over the web. About the guests, not many people from the Bengali film industry have been invited to the ceremony.

Earlier this year, rumors were rife that Parambrata and Piya got married secretly. However, the actor quashed it as untrue. In fact, when Piya and Anupam got divorced in 2021, buzz had it that Piya took the decision since she was in love with Parambrata. However, the ‘Aranyak’ actor denied it at the time.

Parambrata has always maintained a ‘good friends’ with Piya and once told media that he was very upset with such discussions.
